Andy Bailey was charged with a felony after an altercation with law enforcement. Even though a viral video showed he did nothing wrong, the prosecution for the non-crime continued. After seeing the video, which garnered over 130,000 views, Daren A. Wiseley decided to take Mr. Bailey's case pro bono, to fight the ridiculous charges.
After continuing on for several months, the case was finally dismissed - just a couple of days before the scheduled jury trial.
Wiseley said in a Hillsdale Collegian interview:
“They’re not going to admit it, but I think at the end of the day they kind of knew there wasn’t really evidence of a crime. That’s why they just threw it out.”
